Hello all,
sorry it is so long between updates, we don't get to the internet cafe often.
This is going to be short, we have met with the little boy three times now... on the first visit they disclosed some medical information that wasn't given to us initially, and it has raised some concerns- ones that we don't feel we can let go without having checked out. So later this week, could be anywhere from Tuesday-Thursday we will be bringing him to Kiev to have him looked at by doctors at the American Medical Center here. We have been doing a lot of praying for a conclusive diagnosis that will help make our final decision a peaceful one. Please keep us in your prayers that regardless of what the diagnosis is that it is perfectly clear! We love you all and miss you dearly. We will update again as soon as we can.
Shannon and Kenny

Keep your faith in God's Will!! Paige said I had to start posting my comments here instead of emailing you directly so she could see my funny comments. So here you go...Knock Knock...Who's there...Igor...Igor Who?...Igor to see you again! Love, Robin
Shannon and Kenny--
So excited to hear that you are finally in Ukraine! Reading your blog about the medical issues reminded us of what was listed on Elli's medical reports. There were many, many diagnoses that we had never heard of and all turned out to be false! The sole health issue we have had with Elli thus far is that she needed glasses. Of all our children, Elli is the healthiest by far...only one fever in 3 years!
Make one decision at a time...take your time...try not to look too far ahead. It's going to be a bumpy ride--it has been thus far. But it'll be worth it in the end!!
We are praying for you guys!! Hang in there!!
Paul and Kristy
P.S. if you get to the market in Kiev, look for a guy who speaks wonderful English named Serg. He spent some time in Boston and gave us a good deal! Paul had a blast negotiating with him...
We have faith it will turn out well, be patient and things will all turn out. Glad to hear you both are safe :) Love, Em and Neil
We're thinking and praying for you all the time. Trust yourselves and your intuition. You can't go wrong.
John, Maddie , Jesse and I went to the Mayor's Bike event this morning. We biked from home to Waterfront Park to Iroquois (sp?) Park and back home. Whew. Could go for some of that 'eclair' dish you make...
Hoping all goes well this week, you are as ever in our prayers.
Christine (not Jesse)

We're looking so forward to meeting your new little man. The angel cards said he'll be a great addition to your family. Have faith --- all he really needs is lovin!
Kyle (David, Kenzie, Kassie)
Hey guys! I have always believed that God only gives you what he thinks you can handle. I'm sure whatever your decision is, it will be the right one!! Bailey says Jake tells them about when he talks/hears from you guys! Olivia just giggles when I tell her about your trip. Guess she is relieved that you might finally be getting your own kid! I told her if you didn't get a girl that you might still want to borrow her from time to time! ha ha Take care!

90% of the families that have adopted from Ukraine have been told "false" medical information on their child. I hope that you will be in those statistics as well. I hope that Egor will be healthy but most of all happy with his new family!! I will keep praying for you guys!! Please tell Tonia hello for me. What region are you in?? Shannon, have you been starving or have you found any good food?? I am anxious to hear the good news, so please keep writing in your blog when you can!! Good Luck at the Medical Center--I have been there!
Shannon and Kenny,
I am getting in on this late, so sorry! Lynn has filled me in and I am up to speed now so you have even more prayers and good thoughts coming your way. Stay safe!
All our love,
Leigh Anne, Josh, & Bella

It has been a couple days since your last post so I hope you have gotten some good medical news. I figured I better post a message. Afterall, I have been around for several of your big moments. (Your first kiss in the back seat of my car and ripping your dress while dancing at your wedding) I am really excited for you both. Your in my thoughts and prayers. I don't think Zickel is Irish, but I still thought you'd appreciate this Irish Blessing.
May the sun shine all day long,
Everything go right and nothing go wrong.
May those you love bring love back to you.
And may all the wishes you wish come true!
Love, Tom and Julie
